'Most online courses are empty - but not yours...'
- Arno L'Hermite
Osteopath & Founder of the world-famous OsteoThai School & Thai Massage Circus.

'Massage Professional' is a comprehensive, video-based online massage course which is suitable for anyone who wants to learn massage therapy, including both ambitious beginners and experienced massage therapists.

Master a wide selection of massages and enjoy a very smooth and streamlined learning process using 21+ hours of professionally-narrated videos, demonstrations, photo notes, and five optional eBooks.

Kick-start a massage career (or optimize your existing one) with an easy-to-learn, yet sophisticated international skill set.

If you choose to, you can use this vast resource to become the best massage therapist in your area, and charge a top rate for your services.

Succeeding in the competitive massage industry requires more than just basic skills and techniques. In view of this, our course provides a comprehensive, sophisticated and diverse massage skill set consisting of more than 16 different styles of international massage therapy.

After learning the traditions, we also demonstrate how to improvise, artistically blending the different massages together, creating unique international fusion massages. These treatments can be completely personalised for each client and, by providing one-of-a-kind signature treatments, first-time customers can often become loyal lifetime customers.

This means you can spend less time marketing, and more time doing what you love – massaging and really helping people (while getting paid for it).

Learn from real-time demonstration videos filmed in scenic locations, with multiple camera angles and detailed narration.

Play the videos with their beautiful soundtracks - or watch the 'no-music versions' and play your own music while you learn.

Pick and choose what to learn, enrich your life and your career by educating yourself with ancient and modern methods from around the world.

Lifetime access is provided, as well as personal tutor support, via email, direct from the two creators of the course, Bradley and Pete, who have more than 27 years of combined professional massage experience.

To ensure this is the right course for you personally, we provide a 14-day, 100% satisfaction money-back guarantee.

Join more than 8,108 students, from 135 countries, who have already signed up to learn with Ebodhi.

Up to 16 IPHM & CTAA Double-Accredited Certificates Provided

Following successful completion of certain practice activities, we may provide up to 16 certificates (listed below) which are accredited by the the CTAA (Complementary Therapists Accredited Association) and the IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine). These are professional certificates which are insurable in many countries, including the UK and Europe.

Please note: to gain each individual certificate, ten practice treatments must be completed, filling out a treatment plan for each, and these will be assessed by Ebodhi. While most students have no problem obtaining these certificates, since these are professional qualifications, we cannot guarantee that all students will obtain these, as we have a duty to uphold the professional reputation of these certificates and to safeguard the public against careless or unsafe practice.

Five eBooks Provided

You can, if you like, learn using only the videos. Extra information is provided, however, in the following five eBooks:

1) Massage Professional, 3rd Edition (course companion book)
2) Essential Aromatherapy
3) Freelance Massage Success
4) Spa Marketing Success
5) Effortless, Deep and Hands-Free Thai Massage

Description

Testimonials

We at Ebodhi have received 100% 5* reviews on Trustpilot. Here are a few of them:

Staci Ellen:
Absolutely flawless course material. These videos should be part of all massage school curriculum. Such great energy and awesome educational opportunity I wouldnt have been able to access if not for Ebodhi creating a pathway to global massage techniques. So much gratitude as I couldnt travel to all the trainings myself with a child and the cost of CE was too much. This course makes higher learning accessible for all income levels and life situations! Many blessings to Ebodhi.

Ary Pizarro-Chong:
This massage course is excellent, and you get far more than you bargained for! You can do the routines on your clients exactly as it is shown on the videos. The great thing about learning from videos is you can watch them over and over again! When you're learning, you can do your massage, and after the session go back to the video to see what you've missed or done wrong. The certificates and membership that you can apply for allow potential clients know you've gone through thorough training. This massage course is comprehensive! It allows you learn about a variety of styles! I highly recommend this course! Hand down the best in the business in my humble opinion!

Dharana Shakti:
I enrolled in Ebodhi Massage Professional Course 5 years ago and I still refer back to this course on occasion. The instructions are clear, and the sessions are well presented.

Bradley and Pete are easy to communicate with. They answered my questions and were able to offer some great information...

Tommy Houck:
Detailed and informative lectures. I have been in the fitness industry for almost two decades. Over that time I have sat in many seminars for continuing ed. Ebodhi created some very enjoyable, easy to follow content. I am very excited to bring this knowledge to clients and further my massage education.

Cristina Rusu:

Thank you Ebodhi!<3 <3 <3

Anna:
In the past i've attended many courses on massage, but with this one I've been learning so much more than just the practical side of massage. Ebodhi has truly provided a well rounded, caring and professional course to be enjoyed by all.
In addition to the course, they are prompt in responding to questions via email, with great advice and suggestions and guidance. Would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in massage therapy.

Miranda Mishaa:
Dear Team Ebodhi <3 I'm still following the course and doing it with alot of love. Each time I learn new techniques I feel blessed even more, to be able to find this course and purchase it. This course is put together with alot of love and passion as one can feel it if one chooses to really tune into the courses.
I love how we can always go back to the video tutorials and have the book by hand. This course is a blessing ! Thank you Team! Really grateful for all the energy you have put into this! <3

Oliver Thorogood:
Amazing course. Have learned so much and been inspired to learn things I wouldn't have even thought of. For the price it's a no brainer. So easy to follow and learn with, I have only just started to learn and it's perfect. So lovely to watch too with great settings and lovely music. Love these guys so much.

Anne Williams:
The ebodhi online learning experience really stands out from all the other online courses I've done. The quantity of the information provided and the efforts they went to deliver it in pleasing ways cant help but impress... Makes everything else look rather slapdash!

Glad I stumbled onto this browsing late one evening and would recommend to anyone, beginner or pro.

Pamela Jayne Smith (Holistically Yours, France):
I have now completed my second massage course with Ebodhi. I feel that the videos are explanatory and attentive to details. Brad and Pete are excellent communicators and answer my questions in a clear and concise way. Their advice and written content is clear and practical. I think the fact they ask for client feedback to be submitted is quite important as they get a fair assessment of how the massage therapist works with the client. I hope to do more courses over time with ebodhi.

Requirements

Anyone with enthusiasm can undertake this course – no experience is needed, but you must understand English.

An internet connection is required to stream the videos – downloads are not provided.

Certain massages require equipment: hot stone massage requires stones and a heater, tok sen requires tok sen, sound therapy requires singing bowls and chair massage needs a massage chair.

Some massages benefit from being performed on a massage table, but restricted versions of these treatments can be performed on a bed or floor.

Some massages require some type of oil, but certain treatments are performed on the floor without a table or oil.

Career path

Students in most countries, such as the UK and Europe, who gain any of our certificates should then be able to acquire professional massage insurance, and begin working as a professional.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
